The Cornelia Room commemorates the Roman matron, symbol of devotion to family and its values. Cornelia is not a god but he was a Roman matron who helped to spread Hellenistic culture in Rome. She is remembered in history for being the mother of the Gracchi whom she called "her jewels" which influenced the political landscape of Rome in antiquity.
